I have some problems when dealing with English magazines related with mototbikes. First, they use quite a technical vocabulary, and second their slang is a little too complicated  . So I think it's a good idea to start dealing with motorbike slang or even discussing an article from any of these magazines.

Ps: who goes first??

I would like to know your opinion about this motorcycles:

I think this motorcycle is horrible, what do you think? Well, exactly the front is horrible. The other parts are nice.

I think it's the most beautiful motorcycle ever built? (Google Traductor helps me in this sentence)

Can we use the Google Translator? This is an important rule for us. If we can use google, we don´t learn English.

I think that we should correct between us, what do you think?

It´s one idea only.

I like this post, my problem is that I haven´t got any time to write here.

The Beemer is really an ugly one, but I'd love to have a ride on it...It must be awesome to enjoy such a piece of engeneering and hi-tech.
Regarding the red one I can only say that I don't like antiquities. If it's up to me I would always go with the modern motorbikes...I like it better because they are more efficient in all aspects, as well as reliable (it can be a topic to discuss).
What's my favourite motorbike? So far I can only say that my V-Strom has satisfied me more than expected, it takes me everywhere, it has had no problems at all (perhpas one or two, but never let me down), maintenance is cheap, and easy to do at home...what else could I ask for?

However, if I could choose I think I would go for half a beemer, and half a KTM...Just thinking of such a potential motorbike makes me horney!!!!

PS: you say I agree you, not I agree with you, because agree means "estar de acuerdo con".

By parts:

-the bmw, in my opinion, it´s a little strange, and I don´t like the red motorbike so it is too old. Nowadays, the motorbike of my dreams is the honda paneuropean.

- Fluzito, your english level is very accuracy, it´s a high level compared to the media in this post... I can see some phrasal verbs, a difficult task for me.

Well, I'm a primary school English teacher, and I think my level is quite OK. It's been many years since I last went to UK and my level is not as good as it used to be. I read English with no problem at all, and understand around 75-85 % I read, but when it comes to speak I don't have the propper accent, intonation and rythm I think I should have (that I used to have). Accent is not a problem since I'm Spanish, and "hiding" my accent is pretty difficult. The big deal is when intonation and rythm show up...I lack of them. However, my English speaking friends get all of my speech, and so I get theirs so it's just a matter of time to reach a higher level of proficiency in English .

You mentioned Phrasal verbs, and you are right: they are hard to learn, and use. The best way to learn them is using them. I used to know a lot of them, but now I just remenber and use thirty or forty.

Ps: by the way, do you know the origin of the word OK?? Before answering this question I have looked it up on Google and have found a lot of possible answers, you can check what OK stands for here However, I was told that it became popular in the WW2 (I think it's 2nd) when the squad chief used to check up the casualties, after a fight, barrac by barrac. He used to write on the door the number of dead soldiers, and if there were no casualties he would write Zero Killed. But, as we know, time is money, and soon they shortened it to 0 (zero) K (killed)=========> 0K....which nowadays means everything is going well, or agreement.

Well, I can't understand why you don't like the Gilera Saturno!! Sorry, I try to defend my favourite motorcicle. "She" is as old as, for example, many VFRs that you can see in any streets. In other countries, this motorcycle is very appreciated.

P.S.: There is a Rock band called Supersuckers. I like them.

Well, let's go!!

Thank you for your interest! This post could be very useful!

5deabril: I like 1980s motorcycles. What do you think about this topic?

No way you gotta apologize. It's just that that's a motorbike I don't stand for. I currently like really big bikes: V-Strom, BMW Adventure, KTM Adventure, Moto Guzzi Stelvio...These are the jewels I wanna wear some day, but till that moment come I'll just dream of riding them. Plus I like multi-purpose bikes, and that Gilera doesn't seem to feel comfortable for everyday riding, and long-long-rides.

I also like this kind of motorbikes because they can be better seem on the road; we cannot forget we are invisible. VFR's might be my election some day, but not sure at all about it. I think they are cute, but are overpriced. Perhaps, if they had shaft-drive, Xenon lights...dunno, dunno...it's sooooooo f*** difficult making a choice. Right now, I'm thinking of changing the V-Strom, but the dont's are winning....you know: there is a loan I use to pay (read as the song from that old Pepsi commercial). And, there is not yet the perfect motorbike out there, perhaps this year Yamaha will do something good with the SuperTénéré, or Honda with a new Varadero.....

So far I just would use that motorbike in a speed circuit, or at weekends, but what would Mr. Pere Navarro say when his hounds see me riding such an evil speed-machine???

PS: context makes meaning and, in this case, sucker is pretty offensive.

It can be presumed that it is intended to say:
"............... Creo que no nos lo estáis poniendo muy fácil...(imbéc*les) que no entendemos mucho............. de este idioma que es muy complicado para nosotros............

As you can see it is not offensive for those who understand some English (I'd rather understand it this way), but for those who don't even get a single word. In this case punctuation marks make the difference. I mean "dot_dot_dot", and brackets.
I just wanted to stand out what she is saying about herself so as not to make the same mistake again.

I can't see this video!! Mi computer is castrated.

Well, about our experience with motorcycles I think I need less tecnology than today's motorcycles have (sorry if this sentence is incorrect). I only need two wheels and little more. This is the reason by which I like 1980s motorcycles. They have the necessary tecnology to ride and ride and ride, without innecessary complications.

Then your computer's got a big, big problem. Or it had a problem...

Just two things: say not correct, instead of incorrect. And, unneccessary instead of innecessary.
You can also try to get used to say just instead of only at least in colloquial language.
